Purpose

The solar dome dryer enables fishermen and farmers to dry their products, such as salted fish and dried fruits, regardless of weather conditions. This results in improved product quality and hygiene, safeguarding them from dust, fungus, and animals.Moreover, the dryer expedites production by utilizing polycarbonate material that offers thermal insulation, effectively reducing the drying time. As a result, it opens up opportunities for fishermen's and farmers to meet higher demand and access broader markets.

Impact

The anticipated impacts of this project are as follows:
1. Ensuring hygienic production by safeguarding products from dust, weather disturbances, insects, animals, and contamination.
2. Creating opportunities for fishermen and farmers' housewives to contribute to the household income with minimal time and effort, while still fulfilling their household duties.
3. Enhancing food security by diversifying the usage of raw fish, fruits, and other food materials, thereby increasing the supply of domestic food products.
4. Promoting green energy practices, minimizing waste, and requiring minimal maintenance for food and agricultural production.
