Perlis State Islamic Religious Council (MAIPs) has organised a fundraising hi-tea for the development of Waqf Dialysis Centre for Hospital Tuanku Fauziah (HTF), Kangar, Perlis on 14 February 2020 at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
The main objective of the event is to collect waqf funds for funding the development of facilities and infrastructure of the dialysis centre costing of approximately RM6 million. As at 31 January 2020, MAIPs still required RM4 million approximately to ensure the completion of the project.
For information, HTF Haemodialysis Centre project is under a strategic partner in collaboration between MAIPs and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB) via myWakaf initiative.
Achievement
The event has successfully collected RM920,000.00 from 52 contributors consist of corporate bodies, companies and individuals in term of cash waqf to ensure the development of MAIPs-HTF Haemodialysis Centre project is achieved.
