Wakaf MAIK Muamalat with Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) has successfully officiated Mualaf Training Centre in Mukim Kok Keli, Tumpat, Kelantan on 12 March 2020 under myWakaf initiative. The launching was made by the Chairman of Joint Management Committee of MAIK Muamalat Wakaf and President of MAIK, YBM Tengku Tan Sri Dato ‘Haji Mohamad Rizam bin Tengku Aziz.
The main objective of opening Mualaf Training Centre is to provide temporary accommodation for the new Muslim members in Kelantan. This centre allows them to stay in transit for 3 to 6 months so that they are able to manage themselves in terms of getting new knowledge about Islam.
Achievement
Mualaf Training Centre can accommodate up to 50 people at one time. Currently, 10 people are staying here without any fee being imposed and not limited only to the newly reverted Muslim from Kelantan. In addition, this training centre provides hostels including family rooms, multipurpose halls, dining halls and religious classes.
